Bahram Jalali, the Executive Chairman and interim CFO at iMagine Design LLC, brings a distinguished background as UCLA’s Fang Lu Professor of Engineering and a renowned figure in Electrical and Computer Engineering. His expertise is marked by pioneering contributions to silicon photonics and significant advancements in imaging, sensing technologies, high-performance computing, and fiber optics. With over 300 peer-reviewed publications and 43 patents globally, Jalali is a celebrated inventor whose technologies have led to successful startups and groundbreaking innovations in various fields, including silicon-CMOS lightwave integrated circuits and ultra-fast imaging techniques. A member of the National Academy of Inventors and recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Optical Society’s R.W. Wood Prize and IEEE’s Aaron Kressel Award, Jalali’s illustrious career started at Bell Laboratories after completing his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Columbia University.

Janet Roveda is a professor of Electrical and Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering. She is an expert in machine learning real-time wearable sensors data analysis and classification. She is the director of the Center to Stream Healthcare In Place (C2SHIP), an NSF Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (IUCRC), which engages academic and industrial partners in joint efforts that develop healthcare technologies for in-place care and accelerate innovation through multi-specialty collaborations.

Bill is the Senior Director, Product Line Management at CommScope. He also serves as the vice president of Advanced Research at Arris International. Bill has served as the principal product manager at Brocade Communications Systems for fifteen years. He also spent six years at Ruckus Network as the Product Manager Director.

Xuejing Wang is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Arizona. She has a strong background in mechanics, statistics, and engineering applications of artificial intelligence. Her expertise lies in the interdisciplinary field of AI-assisted mechanical and biomedical engineering.
